Venice (Venezia) the city of love, and a perfect location for pre wedding engagement photos!! Originally built on over 10 million logs, and made up of 118 islands, this spectacular backdrop made the perfect setting for a true Venetian love story!

Yass and Mark were an amazing and fun couple to work with! Whilst Yass was super excited and comfortable in front of the camera, Mark (whose idea this was!) found it a very different situation to the kickboxing ring where he can be most usually found and is most comfortable… Nonetheless he was up for fun and super happy to see Yass get the pre-wedding pictures she wanted before their big day together!

It’s a no-brainer when choosing a location for pre-wedding engagement photography to choose the iconic location of Venezia in Italy, and we were honoured to tell the story of their proposal in Venice! Mark had made meticulous research into the best places in Venice for photos, but was good enough to give us artistic control so we could choose the best time and locations that would create stunning pre wedding photography they will look back upon for a lifetime!

Weather in Venice

Whilst Venice is a famous Italian city, many people assume that means perfect Italian weather all year round. Alas… this is not the case in Venice as Venezia famously has varying weather and often cloudy rain is the standard.  Not a problem though! This situation separates the amateurs from the the long time wedding professionals and with a bit of clever planning and skill on the day, we were so proud to deliver these results to Yass & Mark from their pre-wedding engagement photo session in Venice!

Too Many to Choose From!

Yass and Mark had our standard 2-3 hours session, but because of the clever planning and the beautiful location; and of course their ‘can-do’ attitude!, we ended up delivering over 300 photos from this session! More photos than we have ever delivered!  Indeed it was hard to choose just a few to post here from our favourites – they are all our favourites!
