My wife and I used Mykey Day Photography to capture the pictures and video from our special day and we couldn't be happier with the service and final results! Mykey was very professional from our initial booking, to our venue meeting, engagement shoot and the big day itself.
Neither my wife nor I feel naturally comfortable in front of the camera and Mykey really helped put us as ease which had led to us having some incredible shots. The usb containing all our wedding shots was sent within 2 weeks of the wedding and they are incredible quality!
Mykey and his team were all very punctual and respectful of our wishes and our requests allowing everyone to have the best possible day. We couldn't recommend Mykey Day Photography enough.

"Our photos have just arrived and we are so amazed with them! So many great memories that we just don’t know how we are going to select our favourites for the album.
We would say Mykey is worth every penny we spent with him and more! From the day we called him, till the end of the big day itself, he worked hard to make sure he had every shot we ever wanted. "From the first moment we spoke to Mykey at our house it was clear he was a very talented photographer. On the day of the wedding Mykey and his 2nd photographer were professional and extremely conscientious. Mykey was charming and made everyone feel comfortable which made for some amazing photographs of our special day.
I would highly recommend Mykey to anyone looking for a photographer to capture those special moments.
Although he can certainly do a fabulous job of the posed shots, it is when you give him some creative license that he elevates your photographs to a different level to anyone else we have seen when looking at photographers work. We have hundreds of shots we love and the task of whittling that down to a reasonable number for an album is proving to be the only difficult task in the whole process of dealing with this fabulous photographer."

WOW!! Mykey was amazing start to finish! He is so experienced in his field and helped us through everything every step of the way! Through covid cancellations his professionalism and kindness made things easier too in such a tough time and for that we thank you . Our photos are unbelievable and taking them on the day, Mykey ( and John) made it such fun for all the guests and it was a quick and easy process. "Every single photo is stunning. There is not one that I do not like. Out of 1100 photos I could honestly print them all.
From the day I met Mykey at a wedding fair I knew this person needed to be my photographer. I cancelled my already booked one and booked Mykey (without telling my other half). And boy was I right. Our wedding day ran smoothly, photos went off without a hitch and Mykey got every single photo I could possibly wish for.
I adored Mykey and every meeting he made me feel comfortable and my other half, who by the way hates having his photo taken, (I, on the other half, love it haha!) Thank you Mykey for making my day look absolutely perfect. Now, I've got to fly because I have to go and look at my photos again."

The photographs speak for themselves - We had a destination wedding in Malta so it was important for us to capture the uniqueness of the church and reception venue as well as scoping out some beautiful landscape shots. "From the moment we met Mykey we loved his work and his infectious positivity. I went to him right at the beginning with the concern of having photos taken of myself with my glasses on. He straight away put me at ease and squashed that concern. We had an amazing engagement shoot with Mykey in Rye and at Camber Sands creating some stunning photos which we turned into our guest book. These photos were amazing and got us very excited about the wedding day.
His personality puts you at ease and, after seeing our photos, manages to create some utterly beautiful pieces of art. The colours, composition and overall style of his photos create some utterly stunning photos. “If you plan to hire Mykey Day and his team then you better buy a bigger house ; there aren't enough walls in the world that will give you the space to hang all of your beautiful pictures. Working with Mykey is super fun as he is a very enthusiastic, funny genius. We loved him, my bridesmaids found him hilarious, our groomsmen were comfortable with him, my grandmother loved him, the venue loved him, we are over the moon with our photographs.
I have given him 5 stars but if I could, I would give him twenty.
He was an integral part in just how fun and special our "special day" was and we can't thank him enough for that. The photos and video were great and returned so quickly – he shows you the pics on the day and on his little camera screen was the photograph exactly as you see it now...no retouching, no photoshop, just great photos. I told you he was a genius, didn't I?”
"From the moment we had met Mykey at a wedding fair we already had such a great vibe and feeling. Although [lockdown] restrictions stopped us meeting up to begin with Mykey was ready and keen to get things moving as soon as we could. Our timeline meeting was great as it really started to make our wedding come to life, Mykey was awesome at pointing out ideas and suggestions to help our wedding run smoothly and also unique and how to capture the best photos.Our engagement photo shoot was also really good, it gave us good practice for the poses suggested for our wedding day and a brilliant guest book for our guests to sign on the day.... Our photos from our wedding day are absolutely perfect and I do not think anyone else could have captured those moments like Mykey did.
Mykey’s personality is so down to earth and friendly. Throughout our whole booking with Mykey he was a friend on the end of the phone or email to help with any problems or resolve any issues. Mykey's display at the wedding fair was a cut above the rest that were there.
Without a doubt I would recommend Mykey. Professional, friendly and re-assuring the whole way through. All our family and friends also loved Mykey at our wedding because he was so good at his job. Mykey is very approachable, cheeky and funny.”

"We chose Mykey as our photographer firstly because of his amazing talent in photography but also secondly because he has a brilliant personality and sense of humour which we were failing to find in other photographers. Mykey was not "pushy" which we hated with other photographers.
When we first started planning our wedding, we made a list of the most important things we wanted to spend a large amount of our budget on and what was important to us. After booking our venue, the next biggest thing for us was the photographer. We met Mykey and some other photographers at a wedding fair, we had also spoken to quite a few photographers before meeting Mykey and we were really struggling to find the right photographer. As soon as we walked away from meeting Mykey we knew that we wanted him as our photographer and would have been happy to pay more if we needed to.
A lot of our friends and family are similar to how we are and go by customer service. I can't think of a single thing that Mykey could have done to improve his customer service. Besides the customer service, the image quality and style is incredible and we have had an insane amount of compliments and people cannot stop talking about how stunning the photographs are.
I can't imagine any one being disappointed by Mykey and his photography. We most certainly aren't and our family and friends are amazed by the photos we have received (all 833 of them)
If I could say 1 thing to any potential customers for Mykey, it has to be that they NEED to book Mykey!!!!"

His laid back approach to dealing with guests was refreshing after being to so many weddings with pushy and weird photographers. When we saw the photos from our friends' wedding we were blown away and there was no doubt we had to book Mykey for our big day...
Mykeys pictures are simply 'WOW'. The timeline meeting was invaluable in ensuring the day ran effortlessly whilst capturing everything that we wanted. The engagement session is definitely a good idea, and we were initially not interested but so glad we did! The experience has been amazing.
We knew we had to have Mykey and his team from the photos we had seen and then when we saw his collections we couldn't believe the 'bang-for-buck' his prices were - so we had to get the Black Label collection for no compromises memories of our day. "Mykey went out of his way to reschedule us for our big day after we were forced to postpone due to Covid. It was an excruciatingly hot day and despite this Mykey was everywhere we asked him to be capturing everything we had asked for and more…
Unfortunately many of our wedding guests were actually very rude and intolerable to Mykey and his staff, for which we did apologise to Mykey at the end of the day, but he retained complete professionalism throughout the event - going above and beyond to capture the images we had been so wowed by at the wedding show. Thank you once again Mykey!
Mykey and John went above and beyond to check on us all day and ensure they were capturing everything we wanted but without being too pushy - and after the wedding even added a note with the USB that if we weren’t 100% happy to get in touch so Mykey could fix it for us…We didn’t need to take him up on this as we were 100% happy of course! Now that’s service!
We knew the photos were good but when we found out the venue The Orangery themselves had seen the images and fell in love with them so directly contacted Mykey to champion our wedding photos across their instagram and Facebook, we were hardly surprised!

"Mykey went out of his way to reschedule us for our big day after we were forced to postpone due to Covid. It was an excruciatingly hot day and despite this Mykey was everywhere we asked him to be capturing everything we had asked for and more…
Unfortunately many of our wedding guests were actually very rude and intolerable to Mykey and his staff, for which we did apologise to Mykey at the end of the day, but he retained complete professionalism throughout the event - going above and beyond to capture the images we had been so wowed by at the wedding show. Thank you once again Mykey!
Mykey and John went above and beyond to check on us all day and ensure they were capturing everything we wanted but without being too pushy - and after the wedding even added a note with the USB that if we weren’t 100% happy to get in touch so Mykey could fix it for us…We didn’t need to take him up on this as we were 100% happy of course! Now that’s service!
We knew the photos were good but when we found out the venue The Orangery themselves had seen the images and fell in love with them so directly contacted Mykey to champion our wedding photos across their instagram and Facebook, we were hardly surprised!

The venue manager also commented that he was the nicest photographer they have worked with in a long time! "A fantastic experience from start to finish... Mykey held our hand (literally on some occasions !) from the very beginning and the end result was over 700 photos that blew us away. From the minute we met Mykey at a wedding fair we could tell that he had a flair for a more modern photo shoot and we weren't disappointed. His album choices are amazing and the quality of his work outstanding. After paying the initial deposit he spent over 3 hours one evening going through a number of options available to us and then offered an engagement shoot to show us different techniques and to relax us ready for the big day (well worth it !) Mykey was very thorough and constantly communicated with us on the run up to the wedding. The walk round at the venue ticked all the right boxes and gave us even more confidence that we would end up with some beautiful photos and we weren't disappointed ! They are stunning !!!!!"

"It is very easy on the day to get carried away with the day and the photography could have easily been pushed to the side however both in the planning before the day and during the day Mykey made sure that the photos weren't forgotten. We looked at various photographers and our venue had a supplier list however none of them had the quality that we were looking for and most of them offered printed photos but not the electronic photos so this was a big plus for us in choosing Mykey Day.
Mykey came out to our house to show us his photos and explained that whilst the wedding will always be a special day, the longest lasting memories of the day are the photos. This is 100% true and so we upped our budget to get as much from Mykey as we could."

Teaching us how to relax, pose and enjoy the experience in my opinion is a job most would fail at yet you turned an experience of nerves and laughter into a wonderful experience we both treasured and eventually just felt at ease with, no mean feat and almost like having your own warm up act at an audition. On the day of the wedding Mykey and his 2nd photographer were professional and extremely conscientious.

I would highly recommend Mykey to anyone looking for a photographer to capture those special moments. Although he can certainly do a fabulous job of the posed shots, it is when you give him some creative license that he elevates your photographs to a different level to anyone else we have seen when looking at photographers work. We have hundreds of shots we love and the task of whittling that down to a reasonable number for an album is proving to be the only difficult task in the whole process of dealing with this fabulous photographer."

"From the first moment we spoke to Mykey at our house it was clear he was a very talented photographer. He brought with him many great examples of his work and options for our final wedding album. On the day of the wedding Mykey and his 2nd photographer were professional and extremely conscientious.
Mykey was charming and made everyone feel comfortable which made for some amazing photographs of our special day.
I would highly recommend Mykey to anyone looking for a photographer to capture those special moments. Although he can certainly do a fabulous job of the posed shots, it is when you give him some creative license that he elevates your photographs to a different level to anyone else we have seen when looking at photographers work. We have hundreds of shots we love and the task of whittling that down to a reasonable number for an album is proving to be the only difficult task in the whole process of dealing with this fabulous photographer."
