Laura & Benjamin are a fantastic couple whose’ special day we were honour to capture with the glorious Sussex wield as a background!

Laura & Benjamin met when they both attended the same explorer scout group many years ago! Laura claims she had been chasing Ben for three years! However, a couple of days before Laura’s 18th Birthday Ben messaged Laura to say he liked her (awww!). If you want to know anymore find ask Libby and she will happily spill the beans from her perspective. She still laughs about it to this day. 😉 

After ten years together, and with Lauraa being out in Kenya for 3 weeks, Ben decided it was about time to pluck up the courage to ask her to marry! Ben admits he had been getting not so subtle hints about it! Haha!

Nobody knew anything and after Ben picked out the ring in town, it was just a case of finding the right moment. They went for a walk up to Leith Hill and Laura had told Ben about a nice bench with views over Sussex. However when they got there it was was cold, raining, blowing a gale and there was a lovely tree that had fallen on said bench [Editor: It’s never easy for us men is it!!!] Ben took this as a hint and gave up for the day.  So the actual proposal was a couple of days later. Breakfast in bed and then Ben got on one knee and asked.  The rest, as they say….
