Rochester Cathedral Wedding Photography

Rocheter Cathedral is Eng’and’s second oldest Cahedral having been originally founded in 604AD, with a glorious and long-standing history up until the present day. The fabulous and recently restored Crypt making for perfect location for wedding breakfast – almost as stunning as the main ceremony taking place in the full chambers of this architectural masterpiece with ancient origins.  After over 10 years and many many hundreds of weddings we thought we had seen it all, but on this occasion the Very Reverend Dean of the Cathedral officiating the service happened to also be the father of the Bride!!  Meaning we got to see Father of the Bride both walk his daughter down the aisle and officiate the official service! Wonderful!

Weddings at Rochester Cathedral

Weddings at Cathedrals are stunning, we’ve shot many at Canterbury Cathedral, but this was our first at Rocehster Cathedral and it was a total delight from beginning to end.  The day started with the boys getting ready at the Old Hall whilst Bride got ready at the Deanery.  Highlights of the day included a fantastically funny reading with medical props and temperatures being taken, some epic sunset wedding photography, a groom’s face covered in cake, and a sparkler exit to rival any other!!

Emma & George had taken us up on our suggestion to have pre-wedding engagement photography in Kent, and with time being precious on a wedding day they were glad they did – as we got many fantastic stunning wedding images in a short amount of time during their action packed wedding day!
