Chilston Park Hotel Weddings are always a special event we love to photograph, and as wedding photographers it was a true pleasure to document the wonderful day of Michelle & Nick at Chilston Park.

Nick proposed to Michelle whilst scuba diving in Thailand during which explains the fantastically nautical themed wedding at Chilston Park. Nick had a sign that read “Will you be my Mrs P?” and a ring in a specially adapted ring box allowing Nick to put a lanyard on the ring so as not to lose it under 18 metres of water! Michele seemed reluctant at first but that was because Nick didn’t realise he had chosen to propose next to a rather large moray eel! (HAHA!) Aparently Nick was the only one not to notice!

The wedding day at Chilston Park was fantastic with seashells and other nautical themed wedding ideas such as a fantastic wedding cake displayed on the hotel’s grand staircase. A brief trip to the local church and what a lovely moment where the vicar was in fact Nick’s boss from work! We always think weddings are more meaningful and impactful when every part of the wedding day is bespoke to the couple getting married!
