Alexander House Hotel Weddings | Sharon & Chris

Alexander House Hotel is a wonderful wedding venue we were excited to visit for the wedding of Sharon & Chris! The weather may not have played ball, but the numerous wedding guest doggies did!

Chris proposed to Sharon on their 5th anniversary, at Eastwell Manor, a spa hotel we have used many times as it’s dog friendly so that their black lab Cash could stay with them.  This is also the reason they chose the Alexander House Hotel for their wedding as Cash was going to be a special guest surprise during the ceremony! There were also several doggos on the guest list, and the thing we noticed the most was how incredibly well behaved they all were!

Back to the wedding proposal: Chris had arranged for Sharon’s Mother, Children, Grandchildren, uncle and Chris’ brother to be at the venue for afternoon tea.  As they approached the hall Chris went down on one knee and proposed, then told Sharon to turn around and they were all watching from the window.  Now that’s how it’s done!

The wedding day was one of our favourites of the year by far! Such wonderful guests, warm and welcoming and a great atmosphere to be part of.  We were also excited to see our good friend Guy Wade the wedding toastmaster officiating over proceedings, and even giving a magic show or two which really got people going!

Sharon and Chris were super excited and keen for lots of creative photos using the grounds, the staircase, and not to mention a fun champagne spray to end the evening, a fantastic way to end a wedding day! We can’t emphasise how much we enjoy weddings like these! Wishing both Sharon and Chris a long and happy future together!
