Blake Hall was the setting for this wonderful wedding day between Lucy & Sam, and we were honoured to photograph the story of their day at this Essex Wedding venue!

Such a wonderful Spring day at Blake Hall in Essex, the location for this momentous wedding day between Lucy & Sam!  Being a typical English early Spring day the weather was ‘variable’ to say the least! There were clouds then sun then rain then everything else on this wedding day! But like true troopers (and perfect Mykey Day photography clients) Lucy & Sam didn’t let this phase them one bit on their wedding day!

Sam proposed to Lucy at Ruxley manor on Lucy’s first Mother’s Day! Sam got his family to decorate the pagoda whilst Lucy & Sam were having a surprise afternoon tea.

It’s the same venue/pagoda that when they were five months into the relationship they visited and Lucy made Sam stand there and pretend they were getting married!!  😂😂😂😂😂😂 After they had finished Sam suggested this fantastic couple go for a walk.  As the pagoda was all decorated Sam convinced Lucy to go and have a look, then when they got close Lucy noticed the pictures of the two of them in amongst the decorations and Sam proposed on the spot!  Nice work!!!

It was a great wedding day with lots going on! In particular we were impressed with Best Man’s speech and help throughout the day – Sam’s brother doing incredible work there! Also top marks to our seamstress bridesmaid who was always on hand for dress floofing and wafting duties! Some of the best we’ve seen in a long time!
