Rochester Cathedral is such an iconic wedding venue and our return trip today was in fact for the brother of our Bride we shot here last year! With a lot of fun as well as a trip back to Cooling Castle Barn for the after-party – it was an amazing wedding day!

Cooling Castle & Rochester Cathedral Wedding Photos

We were so excited with Luke contacted us after his sister’s wedding at Rochester Cathedral – basically saying “Mykey, it’s time for round two!” haha!
 
Becca & Luke met through a mutual friend – The best man Johnny is Luke’s best friend from school and a close friend of Becca’s from university. Johnny acted as matchmaker for this fantastic couple as well as master of ceremonies on the wedding day! 
 
Such an exciting day started at the Old Hall with Becca and the girls having fun getting ready, with fantastic mum doing a wonderful job of setting up the flowers and corralling bridesmaids with moments before the big cathedral wedding! This did mean we got a chance to catch up with George & Emma which was so exciting to see the news of their forthcoming little one!  Capturing the most important moments in people’s lives and their life-stories is one of the best perks of our jobs!
 
This time Dad wasn’t officiating so had the privilige of enjoying the ceremony – and how wonderful as a father to get to see the stories of his childrens’ lives both as a officiant and as a guest. English weather decided to be its usual annoying self and a brief rain storm made for drinks and canapes inside the Cathedral – but every cloud has a silver lining and it meant we got to make one of the most fanstatic big wedding group photos ever with a shot of everyone inside this magnificent historic cathedral!
 
We love covering families’ stories as we get to hear about all the new stories and moments when we return again and again to tell their unique and individual stories!  In particular it was wonderful to hear from the wonderful groom’s mum that with two more to go it hopefully won’t be long before we get to tell the next chapter of their story!!
