One-to-One photography and business training can unlock the next step in your photography adventure.  One-to-One and small group training allows you to get the maximum benefit from your training investment for your photography journey or business. Mykey is renowned for his teaching ability in a variety of fields, but particularly when it comes to photography and the business of marketing and selling photography for weddings and commercial business. Once you have booked your one-to-one training or group session Mykey will contact you to arrange the date and discuss your individual requirements and goals.  Often we ask to analyse your portfolio and website to help plan your training day for you.

Whatever your personal or professional goals, whether you want to learn for business or just for fun as a hobby, we offer one-to-one bespoke photography training days to suit your needs.

Once you have completed a few training sessions (particularly training in Off-Camera-Lighting)  there may be the opportunities to assist at real live weddings as we prefer to recruit from those who have completed our training courses.  At a real wedding you will learn a lot about working with real clients in live situations which is invaluable training.

What You Can Expect From Your One-to-One Online Session

After we have arranged a mutually agreeable time and date we’ll ask you for some information so we can better prepare for your session.  Do let us know your specific goals and requirements if you have them, or if you’re not sure what you need specifically we can discuss the most appropriate content for your online photo training.

What You Can Expect From a Half/Full Day Training or Portfolio Session

For Training Days we’ll discuss what area of your photography or business you want to advance and go from there.  For example, for posing and working with models we might suggest a photo studio session, for off-camera-flash we might suggest a bridal session outdoors, and for business training we would suggest a sit-down environment for you to learn.

Similarly for Portfolio Days we’ll work with you to create the imagery you are looking to reproduce for yourself with your clients, and have a wide range of locations and themes to suggest.

Many Photography enthusiasts are keen to buy new equipment (we all want that new super fast lens right?!?) but less quick to invest in quality training.  If there is one thing I would tell myself if I could go back in time and tell myself one thing when I bought my first camera – it would be “get some quality training”.  You’ll find the more you learn, the more you understand even beyond what you have learnt, and your photography will improve exponentially.  Trust me, you won’t be sorry…

This means the things we teach are ‘achievable’ in real world scenarios, not just with models in perfect-scenario duck-shoots and plenty of time, things that you’ll never be able to reproduce with real clients at weddings or commercial client shoots.
