Firstly, please don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We always post sneak-peeks and taster images from your engagement session and wedding day to give you some pictures to see quickly, let you share with friends and family, and also to whet your appetite before the full set arrives!

Your Timeline Consult and Venue Walk-Around

The timeline consult and venue walk-around are ideal for establishing the locations and events that will then become the story of your day… We advise booking this is in as soon as possible so we can give guidance if necessary on any of the usual bottlenecks and problems we tend to see. If your venue has a timeline then please do bring it along, but often they only produce one as it relates to them, not to the full story of your entire day…

The ideal meeting is for us to meet at your venue to have a look around, and then sit for a coffee and discuss the timeline of events. If there is a Church then ideally we would see them just before, to discuss any restrictions they may have. If you have a wedding co-ordinator who wouldn’t mind showing us around, that is also a good idea when possible (but not essential).

Very importantly, sometimes our clients like to ‘kill two birds with one stone’ and organise meetings with the venues about other issues at the same time. We strongly advise that you don’t do this, so we can concentrate fully on the timeline, and your meeting with us isn’t wasted…

Your Engagement Session

If you have booked an engagement session with us or have one included in your collection – or even if you haven’t and are thinking about it – we have compiled an article on the benefits of having one, as well as some FAQs and dos-and-dont’s here:

Engagement Pictures and Pre-Wedding Sessions: Tips and Advice

With regards to ‘when to book your session’, please kindly not that late Spring and Summer are extremely busy for us, and many couples have already booked in their session. Mid-week dates are currently available through to July, but we STRONGLY recommend your session is booked absolutely no later than 3 months before your wedding date if you are having an engagement book.

We shoot in Europe a lot, and always welcome clients who wish to book a weekend trip away that coincides whilst we are abroad, so we can create fantastic imagery for you that none of your friends could dream of having…
